Senior Counsel Jimmy Yim is Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Singapore’s most celebrated Dispute Resolution practice.
He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1983 and appointed Senior Counsel in 1998. He was also admitted to practise in England and Wales in 1997.
Jimmy has over three decades of experience in civil and commercial law and international arbitration. In the span of his career, he has represented clients in a wide spectrum of disputes from energy, joint ventures, infrastructure, telecommunications to technology appearing as lead counsel before the Supreme Court and international arbitration tribunals under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
